JMD Menswear is a Conyers showroom run by Danny and Lucky, with a combined 70-plus years dressing men for the events that matter, plus Cornell on visual merchandising and the unexpected outfit combinations. The floor is handpicked in limited runs — often one piece per size and only a handful in a style — so the chambelán court and the men in the family don’t all turn up in the same look off the same rack. When a piece is gone, it’s gone.
Dress the court so it reads as one, not a uniform
A quinceañera has entrances, a waltz, and a room full of cameras, and the chambelanes should match the evening and each other without looking identical. JMD coordinates the court in person: a shared color or jacket that ties them together, small variations that keep each guy looking like himself, and the padrinos or family members worked into the same palette. Bring the date, the colors, and the shoes if you have them, and the look comes together in person, where fit and color actually show.
Coming in early gives a group more to work with
Several looks have to agree, and the floor is limited and changes often — so the earlier the court comes in, the more there is to choose from. Call ahead and JMD can set aside time to compare jackets, shirts, and accessories together instead of piecing it together the week of. If you like it, come try it on.
If the celebration needs a tuxedo rental
When a tuxedo rental fits the plan, JMD rents tuxedos only. A rental includes the tuxedo, shirt, vest, and bowtie, starting at $209.99 and up, and alterations are available in store. Single rentals are welcome as walk-ins; for a larger group, call ahead so the team can set aside time.
Bring the court to the Conyers showroom
JMD is open Monday–Wednesday 11 AM–6 PM, Thursday–Saturday 11 AM–7 PM, and closed Sunday, at 1543 Hwy 138 SE Ste A in the Conyers Exchange Shopping Center. It dresses quinceañera courts and families from across Conyers, Rockdale, Covington, Lithonia, Snellville, Atlanta, and the surrounding area.
