JMD Menswear is a Conyers showroom run by Danny and Lucky, who between them have spent 70-plus years in menswear and custom clothing, with Cornell on visual merchandising and the unexpected outfit combinations. They handpick the prom floor in limited runs — often one piece per size and only a handful in a style — so the look you wear on the night isn’t the one every other table is wearing. When a fashion piece is gone, it’s gone; the store doesn’t reorder it to refill the rack.
Prom has a date — give yourself room before it
The floor changes between now and prom, and it’s limited, so the earlier you come in the more there is to choose from. A few weeks out you can compare full looks, settle your color against your date’s dress, and handle any small fit question without a rush. Leave it to the final week and you’re picking from whatever is still on the rack.
Suit or tuxedo — we’ll tell you straight
A tuxedo reads more formal and photographs sharp under event lighting; a suit is the one you’ll wear again, for interviews, church, or the next wedding you’re invited to. Tell us the venue, the dress code, and what your date is wearing, and we’ll point you to the call that fits the night and your body — not just the rack. Renting a tuxedo for prom
If renting is the move, JMD rents tuxedos only. A rental includes the tuxedo, shirt, vest, and bowtie, starting at $209.99 and up, and alterations are available in store. Single rentals like prom are welcome as walk-ins.

JMD is open Monday–Wednesday 11 AM–6 PM, Thursday–Saturday 11 AM–7 PM, and closed Sunday, at 1543 Hwy 138 SE Ste A in the Conyers Exchange Shopping Center.
